Wordless Wednesday: P's's new obsession

P got a little doll in one of our many trips to Target. It took a few weeks but now "baby" is a part if our daily life. Today I told J that I will be getting another doll the next time we head to the store!

Toddle Along Tuesday has us talking about quirky habits of our LOs. P has plenty but my 2 favorites right now are her love of boxes and her "walks."

P was a "late" walker at almost 16 months but she has not let this stop her. 
Now the minute we pull in the driveway, her first reaction is to say "WALK!"  She could go outside forever!

Weekly wrap-up

Hello!  I have a stack of grading in front of me but I am happy to say the cleaning, laundry, and meal prep is already done for the week (except the shower, that needs cleaning). This week will be a long and short week for me. We have Friday off school for a fall break {happy dance}! I also have 2 cross country meets and parent teacher conferences. This means 2 late nights and a early, busy Saturday. 

I have some good things planned for the blog world this month, but for this week, here is the plan:
- TAT of course
- Wordless Wednesday will be super cute!
- update on my working out. I'm hoping to make this a link up opportunity for my readers!

Get in shape girl

Last Friday was a bad start to my weekend. I got out of my car at work and headed into school. I said hi to my principal and realized I had dropped my keys. I turned around, bent over, and......

RIP!  I wound up with a HUGE hole in my favorite jeans!

This picture doesn't even do the hole justice. Thank goodness for a fantastic husband for bringing me new pants ASAP!

Moral of the story is, I have stopped working out since the 3 Day and my thighs and booty are paying for it. My schedule is crazy busy but I am scheduling time to get at least two (working towards 3) workouts a week. 

I started small. I went to the gym two days a week fir the past 3 weeks. I had out in a good 30 minutes on the elliptical each time.  Starting next week I will be adding in some weights and ab work. 

Fingers crossed that by Christmas things are fitting better and I feel better!  I will randomly update my progress here too!

A {very late} Wordless Wednesday

TAT: toy love

Like Melissa, at Growing Up Geeky, we are starting on P's's Christmas list and trying to bide time without buying any new toys. Here are her favorites right now. 

Books!  P loves to "read" and I can't stop her. Our favorite are Sandra Boynton but I am eying a few Baby Eisteins for her Christmas list.

Tunny!  Or tunnel, if you are an adult!  She loves to crawl in, carry around, and sit in this one. Big hit in this house!

Blocks and duplos!  You would think these are for building but not in our house. P loves to dump the bag and refill. The repeat. I love seeing her try to lug the bag to the living room. I do help her!

Go go! This was a hand me down but it is a hit. She is loving being outside and this gives her something to keep her out of the mulch.

Weekly wrap-up

OMG - school is overwhelming me!  I had hoped to steal 2 hours at school this weekend to catch up a little but everything else took my time. It was a good weekend. My school had homecoming. We always go to the game. P made it til halftime. Luckily staff is allowed to stand on the track so she had a good area to run around. Saturday we had tumbling class, cleaning, laundry, grocery shopping, and I chaperoned the dance. Sunday was a mash of cleaning, laundry, cooking for the week, my niece's birthday dinner, and some playing.

I was able to get some extra work in early this morning but I am paying for it now. I will be better this week about getting my to do list for the blog done. I have some exciting stuff coming up this month!  I am guest posting and doing another fun giveaway. Stayed tuned for more on that!
